Review of Power Jacket Battery Case for HTC One

Conclusion

The Power Jacket can certainly be useful accessory for the HTC One. The battery life is excellent on the phone but still some people might run out of power at an inopportune time and carrying an external battery might not always be the best option, so a case with a built-in battery is the better choice.

The price for the Power Jacket is about $53 and that’s pretty good I think as some with smaller batteries cost about twice as much. Yes it’s not a name brand, but that doesn’t always matter really.

Yes the case does make the svelte HTC One a bit larger but I think it’s worth the sacrifice especially if you find yourself running out a juice often.

The case does have slots for a credit card and your IS so this would be perfect for a night out on the town. You just need your phone and you’re set, not only will your phone be protected but you won’t have to worry about running out of power.

The case charges via the microUSB cable that comes with the HTC One so you won’t find one included with it, but I don’t think that’s an issue as you already have one with the phone.

Overall the Power Jacket works great and it should protect the phone from damage and it looks pretty good too. The only small issue I have with it is that it doesn’t turn off automatically, but it does feature anti over-charging circuitry so it shouldn’t be a real issue.
