ViewSonic® Corp., a leading global provider of visual display products, today announced the expansion of its projection lineup with the availability of its smallest DLP projector to date, the PJD2121. The company also announced the WPG-350 wireless presentation gateway, a cost-effective solution for any meeting room. Both of these products provide an impressive combination of capabilities within small packages, making them perfect for those not wanting to be tied down by their projection technology.

PJD2121 – short throw DLP pico projector

At a mere 2.2 pounds, the PJD2121 is an advanced ultra-portable DLP projector built with BrillantColor™ technology. The PJD2121 delivers 400 lumens and an 800×600 SVGA native resolution, making it among the brightest projectors available in its class. Partnered with a contrast ratio of 1,800:1, this device produces the high brightness and contrast needed for virtually any lighting environment.

Designed for tabletop personal use or for small meeting rooms, this projector’s short 1:1 throw ratio makes it ideal for displaying images 60” or greater from as little as four feet away. The PJD2121’s convenient ‘Off to Go’ function allows the road warrior or presenter on-the-go to power down instantly without fear of damaging the lamp. The convenient bottom load lamp and filter-less design provide for easy maintenance and a lower total cost of ownership. To help protect your mobile investment, the PJD2121 also features a Kensington security lock port.

The PJD2121 pico projector is backed by an industry-leading three-year limited parts and labor warranty, plus one-year on the lamp, and the first year of Express Exchange® service, as well as 24/7 customer support to ensure buyer satisfaction.

The PJD2121 is currently available for an ESP of $449. Additional purchase details and specs can be found here.

WPG-350 – wireless presentation gateway

ViewSonic’s WPG-350 presentation gateway brings wireless connectivity to any projector, LCD TV or large screen display. For a fraction of the cost of an embedded wireless projector, the WPG-350 enables users to wirelessly display notebook or desktop PC-based presentations on any display device with a VGA port.

This device supports resolutions up to 1024×768 and full-motion video up to 1080p for displaying crisp, clear detail. For fast animations and slide transitions and easy presenter changes without the swapping of cables, the WPG-350 features 802.11b/g/n hi-speed wireless connectivity. Software drivers can be installed directly from the unit in minutes as well so there is no need to install devices prior to meetings.
