Two New Gateway Netbooks Hit Canada!

The new LT32 and the LT22 netbooks use AMD Athlon II Neo Processors and ATI Graphics with HDMI 1080P output. The LT32 features an 11.6” screen and weighs in at 2.98lb. The LT22 has a 10.6” screen and weighs in at 2.76lbs. 

The Gateway LT32 and LT22 netbook lines use an AMD Athlon II Neo K125 processor backed by ample DDR3 system memory for speedy web-browsing, music downloads, moving through applications, and handling multiple tasks. Plus, the ATI Radeon HD 4225 Graphics with 384MB of dedicated system memory provides superb graphics and visuals. The result is sharper high definition images, richer color, and smooth video and games.

Video and digital media look vibrant on the new netbook’s impressive Ultrabright LED-backlit displays. The Gateway LT32’s features a high-definition 11.6-inch screen with 1366 x 768 resolution boosts detail and clarity. The Gateway LT22 netboook has a 10.1-inch display with 1024 x 600 resolution that also delivers clear visuals. Both netbook lines’ displays have a 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio, which is great for enjoying Internet video including Flash video and watching movies.

Customers can take all the photos, video, music and documents they want on the go; the LT32 features a large 320GB hard disk drive, while the LT22 has a 250GB hard disk drive. Both systems feature a six-cell battery that provides up to 5.5 hours in battery life on the LT32 and up to 6.5 hours on the LT22, so customers can stay in touch and productive.

Staying in touch with the new Gateway LT32 and LT22 netbooks is easy and fun. All models have Wi-Fi® b/g/n for connecting at wireless home networks and hotspots. The integrated HD webcam in the new netbook lines gives consumers an easy way to capture photos and video, record video emails and take part in video-conferencing. Plus, the built-in digital microphone conveys excellent voice quality, keeping background noise levels low and minimizing echoes.

Pricing and Availability

The new Gateway LT32 is available now at a starting manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) of CAD $449.99 and comes with Windows 7 Premium. The Gateway LT22 is available now at a starting MSRP of CAD $349.99 and comes with Windows Starter.
