Toshiba Goes 3D with the New Satellite A665

t3d1

I’m not sure I like this move to 3D at all, seriously though you’ll need to be wearing a pair of 3D glasses to use your laptop now?! I don’t get the point at all truly.. The specs though of this new laptop are decent with 15.6” LED screen, Blu-Ray drive, Core i7 Quad Core CPU, Harmon Kardon Speakers. a 640gb HDD, and 4gigs of DDR3 ram. The price starts at $1599.99 and will be available June 20th.

“3D technology has captured a tremendous amount of mindshare in the display industry. Flat panel makers and graphics chip makers are developing next-generation technology to provide consumers with a rewarding 3D experience,” said John Jacobs, director of notebook market research at DisplaySearch. “While much of the discussion has centered on the TV market, the notebook PC stands to become the next major platform for consuming 3D content. Toshiba’s new Satellite puts them at the forefront of the 3D adoption curve.”

Features available on the Toshiba Satellite A665 3D Edition include:

  • 15.6-inch diagonal HD TruBrite LED Backlit widescreen display with 120Hz scan rate
