Sceptre Launches Power Boost SS1000 Portable Power For Your Car and Mobile Devices

Here’s something interesting that Sceptre launched recently, the Power Boost SS1000, which is a big portable battery that is capable of jumpstarting your car and charging your mobile devices over USB. The SS1000 has a sale price of $199 and for that you get the ability to jump your battery, charge your phone and tablet and it even has a built-in LED flashlight with emergency modes. Sceptre unveils the Power Boost SS1000, the portable power station that tackles all your emergency power needs, including charging your USB devices and jumpstarting your vehicle.

Sceptre’s Power Boost SS1000 redefines the concept of portable backup batteries by combining the power and performance of larger systems with the nimbleness and versatility of portable units.  Weighing at only 2.76 lbs., the Power Boost SS1000 has a max. output capacity of 240 amps and is able to charge 2 USB devices at the same time with a 4,200 mAh internal battery.  It is also an emergency LED flashlight with 3 working light modes and 3 emergency flash light modes.

The Power Boost SS1000 utilizes a high-quality Lithium Iron Phosphate Battery capable of retaining up to 80% of battery life even after half a year of non-usage.  It can be recharged by plugging in the power adapter or through jumper cables when connected to a car battery.  Sceptre also makes monitoring power levels easy with an LED battery light indicator.

To guarantee safe and secure operation, the Power Boost SS1000 features an array of internal safety technologies that automatically limits the usage or shuts down the charging station without damaging he battery.  These technologies include Overheat Protection, Over-Discharge Protection, High/Low Voltage Protection, Short-Circuit Protection, and Artificial Intelligence Error Connection Protection that automatically detects the polarity of car jumper cables.
