Mayhem 3D Now Available for Xbox 360 and PlayStation3 System from Zoo Entertainment

3D Games? I need to get a 3D HDTV I think, but I don’t want to wear the glasses. Still though after spending time with the 3DS, I do like gaming in 3D.

Zoo Entertainment, Inc., a leading developer, publisher and distributor of interactive entertainment software, along with publisher Rombax Games today announced the demolition derby-inspired racing game Mayhem is now available for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system.

Featuring a 3D gameplay option compatible with any TV and a unique graphic novel aesthetic, Mayhem boasts 20 levels in five arenas and four exciting game modes, including Demolition Derby, an intense battle to be the last one standing; Banger Racing, a no holds barred free-for-all to land in the pole position; Domination, a sumo wrestle style fight to knock opponents into the dreaded pit; and Eliminator, a pole position race with a twist – players must cross the finish line at the front of the pack or be annihilated. Up to eight users can brawl at a time online or two local players can go head-to-head on a splitscreen.

Drivers can choose from 120 different vehicles in six different classes: Muscle, Sedan, Wagon, Coupe, Trucks and Monster Trucks, and earn ‘Mayhem Points’ to unlock new levels by smashing into an opponent’s vehicle resulting in a loss of parts or even explosions. By earning boost from collecting parts knocked off other vehicles, players receive ‘Ramming Speed’ rendering them nearly unstoppable. As an added bonus, minigame challenges, such as Pit Pusher, Duck Shoot, Rear Wrecker, and Part Collector, are also encountered throughout Mayhem to test players’ automotive fortitude.

Mayhem is rated E10+ for ages ten and up and is now available for Xbox 360® and PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system for $39.99. Each game will come packaged with retro anaglyph glasses so players have the option to view all the outrageous crashes and explosions in 3D on any television.
