I want one of these for my youngest, he’d love it. It’s a new ‘tablet’ from Genius. You just plug it in via USB to your computer, install the software and let your kids have some fun and be creative.  Price is only $60, and I’d have to see it but I would have to say it would be worth it for the kids.

Genius, a leading manufacturer of computer peripherals, is now offering the Kids Designer Tablet as a way for parents to introduce children to the technology of tomorrow. In this rapidly changing world it is important for children to learn skills like using a mouse and a computer at an early age. The Kids Designer is easy to use and the 5” x 8” contact (working) area teaches hand-eye coordination and allows kids to play educational and creativity-inspiring games on the computer. The package includes games that will teach children from three to eight years about colors, shapes, logic, geography, math, memory, responsiveness, and drawing. These games have a kid-friendly interface that will ensure children don’t get bored.
Simply install the software, plug Genius’ Kids Designer into a USB port on your computer, and watch your children’s minds take-off while they express themselves, learn valuable skills, and get a head-start on mastering technological innovations of tomorrow.
